About to purchase a ticket to see The Cher Show and the box office told me that she is currently on vacation and did not know when she would be back? I find that quite odd. She just won the Tony and ticket buyers should know who they are paying to see.

Does anyone know how to find out whether or not she is scheduled for a particular performance?

Stephanie has the standard 8 performances a week schedule which she will resume once she returns from her vacation break. If she has renegotiated an altered performance schedule (no matinees, a certain extra day off, etc) to take effect once she returns, nothing has been mentioned.

Its likely only a week. Its rare for an actor to take 2, but not impossible.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

The point is, why can't the box office tell me? I am not going to buy a ticket unless I can confirm. Telecharge always lists when a star performer is not scheduled to be in a performance. Ticketmaster it appears does not and I even spoke directly to the box office who claimed she did not know.

Since she is not above the title, they probably only learned she was on vacation from people wanting refunds/exchanges when they found out she was out. She posted her vacation days on Twitter, a while ago.

She posted about her vacation on Instagram in April . I asked her if going on the 16th would have been ok and she replied "I'll be there !' and of course,she was out and it seemed to have been last minute . Dee was fine though and my picky mother who grew up listening to Cher said she sounded just like her ! I went on all the old threads on here and it looks like I missed something special with SJB

My understanding is that she is on vacation until June 25th. I am seeing the show on Saturday the 29th, so fingers crossed she is in attendance. She's usually good about announcing through Twitter and IG when she's calling out.

I went to the box office today, and they said Stephanie block is out on Vacation the whole week...

They’re aware she’s on vacation. Box office didn’t have a return date for her, which is what was being asked.
