Hah,
That is pretty funny. They do have few house holds, but they only save a few seats, which have to be shared between all cast members and producers and stuff. I know when Jenna got me my tickets, she called that morning to the company manager for two matinee tickets, and she luckily got the last two left. If those had been taken I would have just had to do lottery and prayed like everyone else. I'm sure there are more cast members in lottery that you'd think.

Did Stephanie watch the show or was it for family/friends?
Yeah I was there too and I was going to post about it but I didn't have internet access until now. It was so funny! At first I thought it was a joke or someone else had the same name but there she was walking through the crowd to get her tickets...and yeah, she was really sweet about it saying that even they couldn't get seats. It was for friends of hers. I also went up to her to tell her how great I thought she was. The BEST part was seeing her put on the "I won the Wicked Lottery" button they give you!!! I was really tempted to take a picture!
So I've heard talks (not only in this post but others) regarding Stephanie and her 'injury' - is this anything to do with the injury previously suffered that kept her from opening the tour in Toronto or a new one? I haven't heard about a new one, OR any ongoing problems until now that she might have with her previous injury - what's the dealio?

The original injury...it takes awhile to fully recover.

I think it was something about the muscles in her neck and back.
rKrispy- It's the injury that kept her from opening in Toronto.
Wasn't something wrong with her ankle as well?
Her ankle is fine....It is the original injury that is keeping her from doing 2 shows...Her injuries include her back, neck and pelvis. It is a pretty big deal and will take a while to fully recover.

I was at Wicked lotto yesterday too, and I won. Stephanie was on for the matinee, so she was clearly helping someone else to see the show. I'm inclined to say that seeing the show you're in would be pretty low on your list of things to do on your day off, but maybe that's just me.
Oh, and Stephanie was fabulous, by the way.
Yeah, she was definitely getting the tickets for friends. Why on Earth would you want to be at the show if it's your day off??
