I think that is a HUGE assumption. This show has all the earmarks of very high quality, but not necessarily box office success. I wish them success, but I wouldn't assume that a critically successful, foreign language, arthouse film is a sure-fire hit. And despite the quality of the cast, none is a box office lock.

That depends on whether they get a Hollywood/recognizable name for Candela.

I'm not sure if this has been said eariler, but according to Josh Lamon's formspring account, Rachel Bay Jones will be Patti LuPone's standby.

Luis Salgado will be in the cast and I think is playing Laura Benanti's boyfriend, I'm not sure of the character name.

I kind of expected Mary Beth Piel to be LuPone's standby but Rachel Bay Jones is great - good for her. She could almost standby for Scott as well.
