Wow, already there are two shows that I HAVE to see in NYC: "Women On The Verge...." and "Priscilla"! I may go to New York City in the wintertime (around February), if anything to see actual snow. It doesn't snow in my little corner of the world. from RC in Austin, Texas

"Bartlett Sher (“South Pacific,” “Light in the Piazza”), who is directing “Women on the Verge” for Lincoln Center Theater, said at that time he could not confirm any casting decisions. A representative for the theater company said on Monday that Ms. Biel will not be in the cast, and that additional casting will be announced in the weeks ahead."

Nevermind. LCT's website says it is indeed set in Madrid.

Based on Pedro Almodóvar's internationally acclaimed 1988 film, WOMEN ON THE VERGE OF A NERVOUS BREAKDOWN is set in late 20th-century Madrid and tells the story of the intertwining lives of a group of women whose relationships with men lead to a tumultuous 48 hours of love, confusion and passion.

This was already my most anticipated show of the year. This just makes me even more excited.

Interesting if they have not cast the role Biel was supposed to take yet. I wonder if they're wooing another big name.

Well my question about Patti's concerts has sort of been answered. Idina Menzel is replacing her in the concert series with the NSO Pops at the Kennedy Center.

as of this posting, the LCT website *still* says: casting ... will be announced at a later date. i'm a member, and haven't gotten an email about this in months.

i know this show will sell itself with ease, but is anybody awake in the Marketing Department? the Membership Department?

Usually, tix won't go on sale more than 2 months prior these days. Should be in a coupla wks, though. (from a former Telecharge employee - me). Of course, the initial frenzy will sell tons of tix for the fall/winter season.
