Wow, already there are two shows that I HAVE to see in NYC: "Women On The Verge...." and "Priscilla"! I may go to New York City in the wintertime (around February), if anything to see actual snow. It doesn't snow in my little corner of the world. from RC in Austin, Texas
"Bartlett Sher (“South Pacific,” “Light in the Piazza”), who is directing “Women on the Verge” for Lincoln Center Theater, said at that time he could not confirm any casting decisions. A representative for the theater company said on Monday that Ms. Biel will not be in the cast, and that additional casting will be announced in the weeks ahead."

I was already planning to see this in October, and now I'm even more excited. Anyone know when tickets go on sale?
I'm curious as to whether LuPone's upcoming concerts will be cancelled/rescheduled, or if she'll have several scheduled absences.
Somebody fetch the smelling salts!
Hasn't Patti recently said she has met Sherie and likes her?
Someone on ATC doesn't think the musical will be set in Spain. I wonder?
The casting notices said it would be set in Spain.
Nevermind. LCT's website says it is indeed set in Madrid.
Based on Pedro Almodóvar's internationally acclaimed 1988 film, WOMEN ON THE VERGE OF A NERVOUS BREAKDOWN is set in late 20th-century Madrid and tells the story of the intertwining lives of a group of women whose relationships with men lead to a tumultuous 48 hours of love, confusion and passion.
Wait, since when is Candela in love with Ivan? That makes no sense. Although it doesn't matter, because this show is going to be amazing.
I am officially* excited about this show.
*I know how much weight this word carries around here.

This is the best news!
But Mia Maestro used to be involved??? Why isn't she still! She is amazing!
What a cast! Now I really want to see this!

Over Jen Cody's dead body!
omgomgomg is really all I have to say...I am so excited!
I'm so excited for this...can't wait to see LuPone, Scott and Mitchell out there together, but mostly excited to get a new David Yazbek score.
Is this going to be a belting competition between Patti & Sherie?
^ There would be no competition. I love Sherie, but her belt is thin and sometimes shrill.
This was already my most anticipated show of the year. This just makes me even more excited.
Interesting if they have not cast the role Biel was supposed to take yet. I wonder if they're wooing another big name.
I'm so pumped for this. I'm very curious to see who they woo to play Candela.
Well my question about Patti's concerts has sort of been answered. Idina Menzel is replacing her in the concert series with the NSO Pops at the Kennedy Center.

This just about nearly A-list actor on Broadway I could think of. Outstanding cast!

OK, so - seriously -- on sale dates???
as of this posting, the LCT website *still* says: casting ... will be announced at a later date. i'm a member, and haven't gotten an email about this in months.
i know this show will sell itself with ease, but is anybody awake in the Marketing Department? the Membership Department?
I thought Peters and Stritch in ALNM was going to be *the* gaygasm of the season...
...I stand corrected.
Usually, tix won't go on sale more than 2 months prior these days. Should be in a coupla wks, though. (from a former Telecharge employee - me). Of course, the initial frenzy will sell tons of tix for the fall/winter season.
I read somewhere that the on sale date is August 30th, I apologize for the lack of linkage, but I cant remember where...
