Anybody else remember Camryn Manheim's one woman show "Wake Up, I'm Fat?" It played at The Public about a decade ago.

I met this "person" with a hateful attitude regarding red headed orphans, I think "they" are an orphan themselves. Any ideas, please help, I need to give "them" some creative distractions because I just can't take the verbal abuse. Oh yeah, and the beatings.

Ya know...I'm in a similar pickle. I'm dating this fixer-upper (God I love him lots! He's come so far!) who hates retarded girls who were kicked in the head by a horse. He also has a thing against Italians (refers to Mira Sorvino as the 'crazy, WOP bitch'). To top it all off, he hates middle-aged sopranos (I can't even type what he says about Renee Fleming!). Anybody got ANY suggestions on just the right show to take him to to change his entire life!?

Robbie, you might try taking him to Most Happy Fella starring a middle aged soprano & the crazy wop bitch's father, then take him for a buggy ride through central park and rent Riding the Bus With My Sister which get released on DVD this week.

And Eddie, I am not sure if your special friend has a thing against orphans or red heads, but perhaps redhotinnyc's cabaret show might cure him of his fear of the latter. He may end up hating cabaret, but at least he could watch Life With Lucy reruns without breaking into a sweat.

Why not just rent a few seasons of Life Goes On? That way you get the crazy wop bitch middle aged soprano with the fat ass, as well as her retard son. If nothing else, Corky's commentary on the DVD should clear your fixer-upper's little touch of bigotry right up.
