Are they making a movie of this or is it still on the back burner? I thought I read that Glenn and Ewan were doing it, but have not heard any more about it.

A rep from RUG (Really Useful Group -- Andrew Lloyd Webber's production company) confirmed several months ago that a film-version of the musical SUNSET BLVD. in not in any planning stages in any forseen future. And and all mentions of it are/were just unsubstantiated rumours.
Also, several months ago Ewan McGregor was asked about being in the running to play Joe in the film-version and he said he knew nothing about this.
