Nosferatu they film those auditions all around the UK in many different theatres, they were at the theatre i work last year for 3 days...thank god they went to the Lowry this time

And i might sound mean but
Shes got an OK voice, not bad but not worthy of all the attention
If this was an attractive girl i doubt she would have even got through

It's going to sound mean, but I hate all this Susan Boyle business. She's already had a bit of a makeover like I thought she would, and way, way too much is being made of her voice. Sure, she has an enormous talent, but would the world be making this much fuss if she was a slim thirty year old? I find it shallow to the point of cruel that so many people are heaping this praise on her because she has a great voice despite being a middle-aged, unattractive, sheltered woman with learning difficulties. While it was fresh and different to see that someone with such a talent could be so unassuming, you can just tell that too many people are looking at her like a blank canvas because she seems so impressionable. She will be made into something she's not and will have infinite promises made to her that will not be kept if she doesn't cut it as the superstar she's been built up to be. We know more about the woman's looks and problems than we do about what she can do... after all, we've only heard her sing one song. She's a fad and I think she's the sort of person who deserves it the least.

I know she probably doesn't want it, but with this 'meteoric rise' she's currently experiencing, she's going to be prmoised the world. I just hope she doesn't get caught up in it and doesn't get her hopes up.
