There are also clips of her speaking to the school on youtube, but they made me pretty irritated as the 14 year old girl holding the camera kept whispering "I wanna ask her a question" and "I knew that" over and over again.

omg, that is the funniest/saddest face ever when she gives her the gimme/gimme compliment.

i've watched that part probably 10 times.

i'm sure that girl has seen it and is now down at the local dairy queen, eating her feelings

I'm really jealous though. Imagine Sutton Foster coming to see your musical. I actually was kind of interested in hearing part of their show, but oh well.

Just judging from Sutton's demeanor through the rest of the video, I think that was actually her being sincere about how much she liked Gimme Gimme. And she's so fabulous for going back to her roots.

Man, how'd they get replica costumes from the show? Did he call Sutton up and ask for the tour costumes? Because those were SPOT ON from the tour costumes.

I loved her in the Legally Blonde opening night in San Fran video, but this tops it.
I love Sutton Foster.
She's so quirky.
I just wanna hug her!

my high school did the show last year and you can easily rent those costumes. they rented pretty much the entire tour costumes for the entire show.

Looks like they used the Troika costumes - aka carbon copies of the Broadway costumes. Let me say this - those Muzzy's Boys' costumes have built in thongs on the shirts with a hook halfway up the back because they're skin tight silk shirts with polyester pants. Definitely look great though...

I just adore Sutton. She is so sweet and sincere. I loved when she was signing the kid's shirt and said "I'm a rock star...not really."

She is so down-to-earth. Brava, Sutton!

She really was being sincere in complimenting "gimme gimme" She really did like it. I don't think there was any irony in there at all.
