Sweeney Todd - Original Cast Ensemble Soloists?

Call to my fellow Sondheim Nerds: In the original cast of SWEENEY, the ensemble members were credited just as "member of the company" and there's no record I can find of who did the ensemble specialties like the soloist in the opening number, the Birdseller or the Letter Quintet. Does anyone know who did what in the original cast?

I've done a little bit of research into this (and once got into contact with a cast member on the first national tour, who was able to confirm some info for me about the cast in the performance that was filmed); I know on the tour, for example, Walter Charles and Frank Kopyic were the soloists in the opening number, and the Birdseller was played by Spain Logue. I haven't been able to confirm if they had these same features when they did the broadway production, and I've long suspected, but have never been able to confirm, that the opening soloist was Robert Ousley, who understudied the Judge. I think it's a shame that the person who sang the opening solo on an immortal original cast album may be lost to time. Does anyone know for sure?

I'm sure that AlanScott on ATC (and probably on here too?) could give you a 3 hour lecture including who sang each and every note (and what each cast member had for breakfast that morning)!

For the first time in my life, I regret not being on ATC. Anyone know who was the original birdseller? I thiiiiink It may have been Chris Groeendaal but am not sure. It was Spain Logue on the tour, but I don't think that's him on the cast recording.
