hmm...ten years ago Anthony Rapp would have made a great Anthony or Tobie, he's just a few years to late.
Keep in mind Johanna's coloring, Emmy Rossum is not blond and even w a wig does not have the innocent colorign that a Johanna should have/

I know some of these are a bit of stretch, but boy would it be fun.

Chenoweth isn't the worst choice for Johanna. At least she can sing it. And she has the right hair color, too.

She could sing it, true, but (despite her height), she's getting a little long in the tooth to be playing Johanna.
Although, she doesn't really seem to age, does she?
I don't know, something about her in Sweeney Todd doesn't feel right.
And when Kristin was first mentioned in this thread, I thought it was for Mrs. Lovett.
Needless, to say, I was a bit taken aback.

There definitely were worse ideas, at least. Actually, I just remembered this one because Rath mentioned that she wouldn't be surprised if Charlotte Church were cast -- and frighteningly enough, someone thought that would be a good idea.
