Manoel is possibly the show's best asset.
Not since Kristin Chenoweth in YAGMCB have I seen a greater featured performance.
Patti's excellent as well. The whole cast is uniformly great, actually.

I agree WR, that Manoel is astounding...so is Lauren Molina...quite a find as an actress as Johanna...
I'd mention Donna Lynn Champlin as well, but have admired her for years...these two are simply great additions to NY theater.

I have the biggest crush on Manoel. He's wonderful, to say the least.
ETA: Actually, I have the biggest girl crush on Patti as well!

Yay! Thanks! Everyone sounds great.
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

Wow, thanks for posting those! I had a feeling they were coming and kept checking Broadway.com but I gave up after a while.
And I have crushes on the whole cast too! This show makes me so happy. I have my Playbill on my nightstand and every morning I wake up to a bloody razor! It's just wonderful =)

I'm even more intrigued now.
What weird and yet strangely fascinating staging...

I'm looking forward to this even more. Mr. Felciano is scary looking and sings like an angel. Also, the orchestrations are wonderful!

I'm sure I'll get fried for this... but these clips look absolutely dreadful. I just... don't... get... the appeal of this production at all.
Nothing I have seen or heard, or read as a description so far convinces me otherwise.
Dull and listless... ho-hum theatrics.
Guess you had to be there.
