What's with the Hey Big Spender picture in front of the theatre with the chorus girls looking like drag queens?

I think that's just because they're wearing heavy stage makeup that isn't ideally intended to be seen from up quite so close.

Personally, I think they all look sexy.

I enjoyed the sets. The elevator and ferris wheel were my favorites.

I saw it from the second row, and when they came out on stage for Big Spender, I was like "um, wtf?!" But then I realized I was just way too close. I mean, the purpose of stage makeup is to exaggerate features enough so that people in any location in the theatre can see facial expressions well. The photograph was probably taken from even closer up than where my seats were. It's not meant to look that way at all!

ETA - I loved the ferris wheel, too.

Holy Crap. I can't believe I forgot about the ferris wheel.

I will restate my comments from before. I think the ELEVATOR, CLOSET, AND FERRIS WHEEL are all GREAT sets.

But Muscle believes they only spent 50 bucks on all those great and advanced set peices.

I can't lie - I think I'm a little more amused by the elevator, and ferris wheel than Elphaba's flying.
