TAMYRA GRAY IN DREAM GIRLS?

I am hoping Tamyra Gray gets to be in the Dream Girls movie . Tamyra is so talented as a singer, actress and dancer and i am sure would be incredible in the movie .

She's nothing special. As we all know, she couldn't save Bombay Dreams.
To me, she's mediocre. I will not deny her talents, but there is so much better out there.

I'm a huge Tamyra fan. Ever since she first appeared on American Idol, but she needs to go sit in a corner somewhere and think about her career. When she figures ready to make some real career moves, she can come out.

She can sing the HELL out of "And I Am Telling You," but I hear her acting isn't so impressive.

I heard Tamyra was dating Kelly Clarkson during season 1, and then they broke up and Kelly wrote her song "Since You Been Gone"

First off, I'm a big fan of Tamyra's singing. She's great. The only role I could see her in as far as the film is concerned is Lorrell. She's hasn't really had a part that shows off her humor, and judging from her personality and spunk the first season of American Idol, she's a total goofball. She's got a lot of sass, and she'd be a good Lorell (not to mention that she could actually pass as seventeen).

That being said, I'm not desperate for her to do it. I'd be happy if she did, but not disappointed if she didn't (depending on who ended up getting the part).

I heard a recording of her singing "And I am Telling You" and while it good, it wasn't spectacular or made me go "wow," which is exactly what that song needs.

haha..now the comment about Tamyra dating kelly and kelly writing 'since you been gone'! lol..hahaha!

i got a good chuckle out of that one..but kelly did write that song for another Ai-1 Alumni and a few of her songs are about this person! can you guess who? it's not Tamyra...

tamyra and kelly dating that is funny! maybe fighting over a certain Curly head boy is more like the situation! i wonder ? if only someone would write a tell all book?

Uh . . . the part of Lorell needs to played by someone who can act. Have you even seen "An't No Party" performed?
