All disrespect to his brother, he was absolutely terrible - he couldn’t carry a tune if he had a bucket with a handle. As much as I don’t want the stable of Christians to include another pretty basic white boy, I would make an exception knowing that Corey would sing the shi(r)t out of that score.

I think it’s someone in the cast’s family member which doesn’t give it a pass. The kid is clearly not ready for theatre since mom has left several times during act 1 to calm the child down"
I actively have a three-year-old and would never do this. For example, I saw the show last night and my wife is going to the last performance this afternoon as a workaround.
That said, however annoying you find being in an audience with a child who can't sit through a performance, I assure you it's 20X more excruciating for the parent/s trying to control the situation."
Trust me. I understand. Coming from both as an audience member and a caretaker. I would never take the child I care for to a theatre because I know he wouldn’t sit still for more than 20 min. Each parent knows their child and said parent should have known better.
Saw the show last night for the 2nd & unfortunately last time.
Please confirm one thing for me, so that I can truly feel like I'm not losing my mind: On stage, the lyrics for Don't Make Me Do It are, in fact, mostly different than what's sung on the cast album, right? - And, on top of that, like is the case with You Crack Me Up, just about all of the lyrics are different than the origial Huey Leiws song.

....or am I missing something? HAHAHA!"
Yes! I noticed that too. There are definitely moments on the cast recording that are different onstage. I think it was recorded in March, per what I saw on the social media accounts of cast members, so maybe it was when the script was still being revised?
