This friday "The Lion King" opens here in Birmingham, Al. and I was wondering if anyone has seen this cast....so far I've heard good things about them.

I saw them here in Chicago - they were great! I wasn't a fan of Mufasa, but he was my biggest dislike. Have fun if you see them!

if it's the same Mufasa I saw a couple of weeks ago in Chicago, he was fine.....

just be prepared for all the kids who will NOT keep their mouths shut during the performance, and their ignorant parents who allow it......

I saw it in Memphis, I don't know if the cast is different, but you are in for a great show if it hasnt.

I would've enjoyed The Lion King (I saw it in 9 better if I was deaf.

I honeslty think watching the cartoon is an overall better experience.

Where yes it is one of the most visually impressive show I have seen, I didn't think it was worht the money! Buy the book of the costumes and puppets and read it while you watched the cartoon. It will be the same experience minus the insane amount of SCREAMING kids!

The Lion King that was recently in Chicago (Cheetah Company) is now in Portland, Oregon. The one in Birmingham is the Gazelle Company.
