Two Questions:
1- My mom and I want to try to catch an extra show when we're in New York. Can she use my second student rush ticket, or can they only be used by students?
2- I've heard that rush tickets can only be paid for in cash. Is this true? And will traveler's checks be accepted?
Thanks! :)

1) A student has to buy the tickets with a valid student ID. Anyone can use them.

2) I believe it's cash only. I don't believe traveler's checks are accepted.

I posted this as it's own thread but didn't get any responce so I need a responce so I figured I'd post it here again

Thanks for the advice

OK, I know that sometimes shows have a hard age limit for the rush (They limit the rush to students under 25 or 30 [Pillowman, for example wasn't a student rush, but a youth rush for anyone 25 or under {trust me, I took advantage of this offer}]). So my question is about Frost/Nixon and Moon for the Misbegotten, are they including age limits?

ok so i have like lots of questions for the rush ticket/lottery thing.its going to be my first time doing the rush tickets thing when i watch wicked for the first time.

SO ok its a lottery thing. So, since wicked right now is very popular what time should I be on line for the rush tickets in the Gerswhin theater?

Like what are the days that should be the best chances to watch Wicked and win the lottery . I want to go to the matinee performances, but does that mean there is going to be more people waiting on line for the rush tickets? If I really have to though what days should I go for the night perfomances?

Also, last question. What time should I be on the line for the rush tickets? like how long does the line literally is for the tickets?

please answer ^_^

How early should one arrive for the Talk Radio rush? I know it's two hours before curtain, do I need to get there early?

Will I have to line up early for Talk Radio rush, and if so, how long before the tickets go on sale (which I know is 2 hours prior to curtain)?

Does anyone know what the Chorus Line rush/lotto is like on wednesday matinees?

I'm coming to ny on the first week of may and can't find any discounts or anything for the show and can't afford an $111 ticket.

Or ,doubtful, but would it maybe be on tkts on a wednesday matinee?

Thanks for any info!

Honestly... it might be.
For next Wed. Mat. it has seats in Right Orchestra Row N for 4 seats, which means the show is far from sold out.

Does anyone know of any other good ways to get cheap GG tickets other than SRO, rush, etc. I am (hopefully) coming in from Southern PA, so I really can't do rush, etc. I checked Broadwaybox.com, and they have great discounts. but some of the discounts aren't valid on Saturday nights, which I when I wanted to go.

Should I just get tickets for the matinee then? My main reason for wanting to see the evening show was to meet Christine and Mary Louise at the stage door, and I'm not sure if they come out after matinees.

I know it's a loaded question, but can anyone help me? Thanks!

What time should I arrive at the box office, using student rush, for:
Grey Gardens (Saturday)
Spring Awakening (Monday)
Company (Wednesday night)

And is it easy to win the Drowsy lotto?

Do Les Miz and Company have SRO?

Does anyone know if The Pirate Queen rush has gone into effect yet? Also, on a different track, how many tickets can one person buy at TKTS and for how many shows? Thanks!

The Pirate Queen rush has been in effect since previews started. I'm not positive, but I don't think there are any limits to the number of tickets you can buy from TKTS.

To the Wicked question it does not matter because it is a lotto. If you got there 2 hrs before they draw it makes no difference if you got there 4 hrs before. They draw 2hrs before curtain and start taking names 1/2 hr before that
