THE OUTSIDERS to launch national tour in 2025

BROADWAY NEWS EXCLUSIVE: "Exclusive: ‘The Outsiders’ will launch national tour in 2025" by Broadway News’ Michael Abourizk - "The production will open in the fall of 2025 at theTulsa Performing Arts Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The Araca Group, American Zoetrope, Olympus Theatricals, Sue Gilad and LarryRogowsky and Angelina Jolie will produce the tour.

“We could not imagine anywhere else to begin this next leg of ‘The Outsiders’ journey than where it all began in Tulsa,” producer MatthewRego of the Araca Group said in a statement. “S.E. Hinton’s novel has inspired generations, and we’re thrilled for a new generation to experience the iconic story as we take ‘The Outsiders’ across America.”

Prior to the production’s Oklahoma engagement, the tour will tech and play preview performances at West Herr Auditorium Theatre in Rochester, New York."
