God, what a HORRIBLE desecration of the site that once housed (the old Henry Miller) the original production of Our Town. Thorton Wilder and any of the fine actors who played that venue must be turning over in their graves. Sorry, makes me want to puke.

The paedo jokes refer to his later run-in with the law over his encyclopedic collection of vintage pre-Playboy erotica, some of which did feature depictions of the underage. His story is that he collects it, but does not fetishize it, and uses it as a museum-like gathering, not as a private collectin of pornography. He was acquitted, I believe.

Jesus, give it a rest. You all are ridiculous. I know this isn't showcasing a diva in her sixties for you all to orgasm over for two and a half hours, but I, for one, am tremendously excited. I grew up on the show, adore the movie, and have heard a number of reports from people who saw it in L.A. and loved it. It's remarkable how limited some (many) people on here are in their views of what's "acceptable" on their beloved Broadway.
