"THE WIZ" Rush?

Don't shoot me if there's already a thread on this... I searched, but couldn't find anything...

Does City Center have any sort of a rush policy for "The Wiz"? I think I remember someone saying they had rush when "Gypsy" w/ Lupone was there...

If you want cheap seats, there are codes out there for 40% off tickets... including the $25 seats. It comes to a total of $17.50 per ticket, which is cheaper than rush anyway.

GYPSY with Patti LuPone was indeed an Encores! production before it opened on Broadway. It was Encores! Summer Stars, not part of the normal Encores! season, same as The Wiz.

City Center doesn't do rush, but they do have a student ticket program. On their website, you can fill out a basic application, providing a valid university email address. Then just check your school email regularly and you should get codes for cheap tickets.

The City Center website isn't working lately. The last few days I've been trying to get tickets and it hasn't worked.

I've been having problems with the site too. I posted last night asking for the P2P code, but then when trying to use the code, all the prices were still the same (and yes, I checked EVERY date, lol). Now when I go on the site, it doesn't even show the place to enter a promo code. Weird.

I think that means that all of the student tickets for 10 dollars are gone.

The website never works for me. It seems to be some sort of problem with the log-in function.

Really? Bummer. I didn't know they could sell-out. Oh well, 17.50 isn't bad either.
