Theatre FAIL and sick thrills

Sorry, Taboo, some of what you said was truly frightening.

I can see not being affected by horror films and video games, but having no feeling/concern for a human being in pain is just wrong. You have no way of knowing which of these PEOPLE were actually hurt or perfectly fine.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

I agree with dramamama, too, taboo. For all you know, that guy died after getting bashed in the head. The girl in the clip you deleted at least had a bloody or broken nose, maybe a broken jaw or missing teeth. What say we stick to "fails" and "oopses" where people are not very obviously hurt?

I don't think any cooters, man-made or otherwise were involved in those slams, sing_dance_love. That was pretty impressive, but it was neither a theater fail nor an oops, and so does not fit in this thread.

Now here's a fun one that shows how a professional handles these things. Anita Morris singing Eubie Blake, and

her wardrobe failure.

Theatre Oops

Here's an oopsie....

Laura Bell Bundy's shoe flies into the audience during Legally Blonde,..so she takes her other one off and continues her song.

(no one gets hurt in this one,.. maybe an audience member, but since we don't see it.. I'm assuming no one died in this clip)

love this one:

Theatre Oops

So, here's a performance from a production of Hairspray that I did recently. It was for my hometown's televised "holiday parade" and it was literally the 5th version of "You Can't Stop the Beat" we had to learn, and it had rained, so the street we were performing on was soaking wet.

Things to focus on:
1. The weird cut of the song and pre-recorded vocals at the beginning.
2. Penny and I (I played Seaweed) covered in streamers for the first half.
3. ...and the reason i'm posting this, at the very end watch all the way on the right. The girl in pale blue runs and slips on the wet groud and falls perfectly on the button of the song and then hilariously finds a pose.

Our show was great, and as ridiculous as this performance is, I don't think we come off too badly, but Jesus, I've never laughed so hard as when I watched it back that day and saw my friend fall at the end. Hilarious.

You Can't Stop The Beat

taboo123, I'm not sure what was funnier about the "Putting It Together" clip: Carol Burnett's skirt, or John Barrowman's reaction!
And speaking of Mr. Barrowman, it seems that clip isn't the only time he's had costume issues. Except this time, the camera caught it!
