That Helen Keller one always gets me, as does this Peter Pan one that I'm sure everyone has seen a million times:

I don't think its a fail when the actress playing Helen Keller falls off the stage, climbs back up and keeps going. That is some major balls. That girl is my hero.
"The sexual energy between the mother and son really concerns me!"-random woman behind me at Next to Normal
"I want to meet him after and bang him!"-random woman who exposed her breasts at Rock of Ages, referring to James Carpinello

I actually think that's a win, given that she didn't yell a cuss word as she went down. I always feel queasy seeing clips like that.

That young lady is a THEATRE actress in her bones, however broken.

true. very true.
i think the fail for me is 'if she's so focused on being Helen keller'.. how'd the hell she know to scurry back up to the stage?
i would've stayed on the floor touching the audience inappropriately until they led me back to the living room.

Les Mis is a good pick me up.
I know these are oldies but they are SOOOO good.
I didn't mean for this to turn into the bad High school production thread either.
but oh boy--does anyone have any good theatre fails stories to share?
another one for good measure

This is actually from my high school production of Peter Pan. peter's fly line and Jane's fly line got mixed and Jane flies across stage before Peter even enters.

I glanced at the comments for the comments on the Helen Keller vid and someone posted that the girl fell off the stage as part of her audition and the director was so impressed he BLOCKED it that way (and obviously cast her).
Oy. (Because it seems Helen Keller lived her life on a stage?)

The comment? Possibly....but they WERE able to get her back on stage pretty easily and then keep going.
