I hear this production is the same version that played in London earlier this year. Anyone know much else about this? Great looking cast.

Posted: 12/30/13 at 5:33pmLovely cast, and not to hang the black crepe, but it has only ever worked in concert thanks to Yeston's glorious choral passages. I do like seeing the word "intimate" in the marketing and I can imagine it might be persuasive in Westchester. On Broadway? Not so much. I wish them well with a tricky piece.

Posted: 12/30/13 at 11:51pmI saw a super intimate production of the show in Rhode Island last summer. Just piano, cello, and violin, I believe. Really beautiful. You really don't need these huge mind-blowing special effects. It can be very cleverly staged.
