Will it be difficult to get tickets to the closing performance of Title of show? What about Legally Blonde? I think that TOS will announce it within the next couple of days bc I heard they pulled all there dates off TDF and I KNOW they aren't selling out they only did 32% last week. I'm hoping this closing won't be like RENT'S with the tix going for 1,000 each.
I highly doubt it will be hard to get tickets...if you just track it and get tickets the day of the announcement or even the day after I'm sure you'll be fine.
Yeah, I know thousands of theatergoers who are eager to fork over $1,000.00 per ticket for TOS.

Am I the only person here who thinks cooooooooolkid did not have tickets to the final performance of Rent?
Is it really closing? I haven't gotten to see it yet.

Did anyone really expect this Off Broadway show to survive on Broadway?
Seriously, coolkid, you never cease to amaze me.
coolkid, if the show is closing in an off-peak time of the year and is doing so because of poor ticket sales, do you really think it would be hard to get tickets to?
And they haven't even announced a closing date!! Just chill out.
Is going to final performances all you care about?
It still has to pay rent for the theater. I am quite sure if a new show wanted the theater, it would be gone in an instant.
But the Lyceum isn't exactly the most sought-after theatre on Broadway.

Yeah, I doubt tickets will be hard to get when it does close, which nobody knows yet, so chill out. This is one of those shows that will probably only be given a few weeks notice of its closing, versus months for Rent, since it was so popular.
[tos] makes me so nervous because its one of my favorite shows and I feel so fortunate enough to have seen it but its one of those shows you have to see again. Some of the jokes went right over my head. I really want it to last through winter. :) crossies!
We should all promise to tell 9 people and go see it again! Keep it open! I love this show and is so much better than some other shows on Broadway now and deserves to stay...

Maybe I'll see it the next time I'm in the city. I couldn't see it on August 27th, because there was no show that day, and Saturday I was desperate to see Xanadu.
Did anyone really expect this Off Broadway show to survive on Broadway?
Actually, yes, because it is - you know - a GOOD show.
And if it can't survive, it still is better than a lot of shows than run for years.
I'd like to know why Roxy referred to the show as on off-Broadway show when it is playing in a Broadway house?
