I totally agree that they should've mentioned the movie. And should have let him wear Adam clothes. I'm going to pretend it was a studio decision and not Adam being nervous...

ROTFLMAO, QM. I'm so going to do that, and play dumb.
I wanted Adam clothes so badly. I'm curious as to whose decision the wardrobe was, but it was probably his. Euan Morton went on their show once; he was dressed nicely, but nothing like that. Typical Euan clothes.
I do feel like this was a bit of an awkward show for him to be on, considering the supposed target audience. I mean, before him they were talking about motherly inventions and breast cancer and lipstick - but I keep telling myself that it IS national television exposure, and they always seem very big on bringing the theatre community to light on the show. He didn't seem his normal, goofy self, but I think I can see where that comes from. I don't think I was disappointed, because far as I'm concerned I think it was mostly a kick-ass performance, but I wish they'd interviewed him for that reason. He may have gotten to be a bit more comfortable, and acted more like that goofy, silly, snarky self that we all love.
yeah i wished they had an interview. From what i remember when he was on the show last time with aida, he was really goofy and adam like. Oh well such is life.
"At the opening night party, they had clowns on stilts, jugglers, a chocolate fountain, popcorn, hot dogs. [My son] looked at me like I had been holding back. Like, 'This is what you do?' I had to tell him, 'No, no, darling. Opening nights don't usually look like this.' It's usually a dark bar with a bottle of vodka." ?Chitty Chitty Bang Bang's Jan Maxwell

Well, it's not like he doesn't look hot in a suit. It's just not his usual style is all.
I'm just glad he got the chance to be on the show. It *is* great exposure no matter what. But I don't know, Adam belongs somewhere like MTV or something. Hehe. "To follow up Ashlee Simpson's amazingly lip synched performance, here's Adam Pascal! Some guy from Broadway."
Exactly! It seemed like they just kind of tacked him on at the end, regardless of making it follow smoothly. It was like, Movie guy, human interest, human interest, moms with too much time on their hands, human interest, Broadway guy who likes to sing rock...
I'm not sure they really knew what they were doing.

I flipped on the View toward the very end and thought..."who is this cute guy singing??" Now I know I could have done without his random screaching at the end of the song though.
"Yes, let's all use our hundreds of email addresses and write in to 'request more info on this talented young man 'what's his name again, Adam Poscol"
QM, my friend calls him David Pasqua. I guess I should use that? :)

That's it, TGIF. Make up names etc... Maybe you need to give them more info when mentioning 'David', otherwise they will have no clue who you're talking about. Some of my friends call him Adam Pascohl, so that'll be the one I use a few times.
