I had to help my mom... so "stat" wasn't really so true.
I'm doing it now. Must carefully formulate my message to sound as mature as I claim to be. *nods*
I emailed all of them too. I decided to drop maturity and sound very fangirlish. I couldn't help it. It's Adam.
I'm going to try my best not to sound fangirlish. I guess if we're hoping to do him any good, we at least owe it to him to do more than "I love him. I love his voice. Adam's the most beautiful thing on the planet," which, I certainly do resort to enough of the time.... we'll see what I come up with.
Oh, I wasn't that bad on the fangirlishness. But I did mention he was awesome and needs to be on there again and soon. And needs to be interviewed.
No, don't get me wrong; you don't sound like one who'd do a lot of it. I was just saying in general.
I do my share of squealing, and he knows it. I try to redeem myself with said shameless plugs.
No believe me, I do my share of it too. For Adam and Anthony. It can get pretty bad. Ask Lael. lol.
Oh, I can most certainly vouch for that!
You people have NO idea...
Shush you. :P But you do it too.
*shifts eyes* Who, me?
NO,not you. Never you. -coughs- San Francisco. -coughs- Treasure Island.
Yes, but when you compare everything to me, 's all okay, no?
Sporks....
Okay, I e-mailed all of them.
I basically said that I've been a big fan of his for a few years, since the first time I saw him when AIDA first opened, and that I've been following his solo career since jumping on the bandwagon back then. I said I've always been convinced that he's truly a rare talent, and that it does a fan proud to see him finally getting the recognition that someone like this really, truly deserves. I also said I'd love to see him on again, and thanked them for giving him such a wonderful opportunity to show his stuff.
The spork thing was great. That's awesome what you said in your letter. I hope they have him on there again. And real soon. In my opinion, I think once the movie takes off he should do SNL and have Anthony host. But that's just me.
LOL! That would actually be hysterical. When RENT stuff takes off, they'll all be all over the place, probably. Weird.
Aw, you're all mature and calm and stuff!
And you know I compare everything to you...but you have to admit, driving (and sometimes walking) around Treasure Island at three am when they're not even rehearsing or shooting is pretty lame.
Yeah, but you have to admit Lael, it was fun. Three am Treasure Island walk, up to the creepy building, that was fun. And it is going to be weird once the movie and stuff takes off.
"Aw, you're all mature and calm and stuff!"
It takes practice. And trust me, I've done lame. Hugs, sporks, silence... you know.
Yeah, but you got to meet him. That's awesome. It's understandable the amount of gushing fangirlishness you may have done. He's beautiful.
Yeah, it was. Creepy, but fun. You know you and Chelsea had more fun there than I did...I mostly amused myself with focusing on how the palm trees looked like pineapples...which led to a MUCH more amusing train of thought!
I've been wondering about that, too. About when RENT takes off in the mainstream world (which sounds so anti-RENT...how odd!). I've been babbling to people who don't care at ALL how one day, every single one of them is going to know who Adam Pascal is, and not just through me!
I live in a hick town. NO ONE I have talked to in my town has heard of RENT, Adam, Anthony, or anything related, except from me. It makes me cry, and want to go back to college.
I completely clam up. Still. Four and a half years into this little love affair, I still can't get more than four words out of my mouth. People still have to speak on my behalf. I still stare, but I do try my best to be friendly and not so shy.
laaaaaame.
When I met Anthony, my husband had to literally drag me to him. I couldn't move. I felt so lame. Finally I spoke in fangirl and was gushing bad. But he was really cool about it.
And Lael honey,it was still fun. But yeah, I live in old peopleville so no one but me and Jess know RENT out here. Although I'm doing pretty well with spreading the joy that is RENT and Adam and Anthony.
I just got home from school and the first thing i did was watch adam on the view! Oh my do i love that man! I wish he did another song but yeah it was amazing anyway. He also seemed nervous in the beginning but i don't blame him! it was national television! My mom also said, Wow is he really hot and she asked to borrow my cd because she loved his voice! ANother adam fan in the making!
Yay jen. That's cool. Adam is great.
he really is amazing even if his voice did crack at one point. It did right? it wasn't my tv?
If it was your TV, it must have been mine, too...
No I heard it too. But he was nervous. But he was still great. And looked good too.
