According to their Twitter, Mutu contracted COVID-19 and so will be out for the rest of his contract - his final performance was May 3rd.

It appears Declan Bennett has already stepped in.

Hope he gets to return to Bway eventually in a show that's more worthy of his talents. This was such a thankless part (but a steady paycheck).

Hate to see this. He seemed to really enjoy his time there and deserved a better send-off. This show/ company has been so unlucky with Covid. I think Tam is among several members currently out now.

Jacqueline B Arnold and Taisa Jungbauer have also both posted on Instagram this week that they are out with Covid. This poor cast can’t catch a break.
