re: Tarzan to Close

Natalie HAS gone on as Jane before. Jenn went on for her first number, felt ill, and Natalie did the second act. I haven't seen her, but it would be nice to.

Niki is a GREAT Jane. Polarly different from Jenn.. much more dainty and refined, proper British girl....

What is it about Celina's performance that people don't like?

re: Tarzan to Close

There was no accent with her on stage either. Her singing was not the greatest, her acting was weak. And there was no chemistry between her and Josh what-so-ever.

I have seen Celina several times, and she has greatly improved. The songs don't fit her voice. She has to strain on a few parts and the timbre of her voice doesn't set well on Phil Collins song as well as Gamby and Scalera.

Oh hearing you guys talk about accents reminds me of another thing about the show that really got on my nerves. People from Great Britan DO NOT sing with British accents!! I really don't know what they were thinking... but it just really erks me.

re: Tarzan to Close

Um, there is an accent there different from American accents. I learned to sing listening to Julie Andrews records (yes, records) ~ various Disney things (including Mary Poppins), The Sound of Music, etc. And my singing voice was always totally different to my peers in church choir in Hendersonville, Tennessee. And I was once asked if I'd trained in England because of the way I sing. It may not be AS obvious as when they're speaking, but there is a different accent there.
