Do you know what makes me want to cry more than anything? During "Dancing Through Life" the part where Boq says to Nessa "It's because you are so beautiful!" and she's like "Oh, Boq! I think you're wonderful." How crazy is that? But it makes me want to bawl! Poor Nessa.

I'm not an emotional person, but watching Brian Stokes Mitchell sing the "Impossible Dream" on last season's Tony telecast moved me to tears.

I hardly ever cry at shows, but one song made me cry just listening to it on CD:
"My Brother Lives in San Francisco" sung by Emily Skinner from the concert recording of "Elegies for Angels, Punks, and Raging Queens"
So I listened to it again...and it made me cry again :)

There are lots of songs that make me cry, especially:
I Have Dreamed....from The King and I
The Music That Makes Me Dance......from Funny Girl
The finale of Les Miz
What I Did for Love......from A Chorus Line
The all time winner, tho, was many years ago, during the musical
Shennandoah......after John Cullum sang "Papa's Going to Make it
All Right" I sobbed for the rest of the show.
What great memories! I love songs that have moved me enough to make me cry! :)

Oh MY GOD!
I totally forgot about
My Brother Lives in San Francisco makes me sad every time I hear it. I adore this song.
For me, the last few songs of Into the Woods always get me, I did an amateur production a few years back and my grandfather passed away a few months later, so songs like "No One Is Alone" and the act 2 finale (esp. the Baker's Wife and Witch Part... our Baker's wife did such a good job with that part) particularly get to me.
Also, "By My Side" and "On the Willows" from Godspell also are hard for me, because they are such poignant songs.
I love waiting until the 4th page to add to these poles! =)
Gahj, im such a sap, what DOESN'T make me cry?! 90% of the second act of RENT has me in tears...
Why, Louder Tha nWords ,and Johnny Can't Decide from TTB
The end of Once on This Island
The Impossible Dream (man of la mancha) I break down anytime I hear this, since my grandmother died. This was one of our special songs. Same goes for What I Did For Love (a chorus line)
::sniff:: always gets to me....
Here are songs I cry over:
Letter Song
Point of No Return
How Could I Ever Know
All I Ask of You--it's been, like, two and a half years since Steve Barton passed away, and when I listen to the OLC recording of Phantom, I cry everytime I hear him sing. Even the reprise brings me to tears.
I Will Never Leave You
You'll Never Walk Alone
Meg
"The Impossible Dream"-MoLM(only song to make me cry like a baby in two ways: TV and in real life(5th row dead center)
2 songs from Q: "Fine Fine Line" and "I wish i could go back to college"
"for good"-wicked (what a tear jerker)
"Finale" Original fiddler
I hate to be reduntant so i apologize for all the repeats (PS i am also a sap so i cry for everthing)
No Good Deed until the end of the show (WICKED)
Ending of Godspell (I was suprised no one mentioned until the 3rd page)
I Know the Truth & all the Reprises (Aida)
A Little fall of Rain (Les Mis)
All I Ask of You - when the phantom sings (POTO)
The Finale of Cabaret (Cabaret)
"your eyes" and "i'll cover you reprise" from rent.
but only the last one, if it's sung by Mark Richard Ford.

Yes! Mark Richard Ford is so amazing as Collins and definately brings people to tears.
During For Good in Wicked I thought of my friend and started crying.
Also, during See Her Smile in tick, tick...BOOM!
Last but not least, the finale of Les Mis especailly when Fantine and Eponine come back out.
