Here's a good way to scare Little Johnny and Sally into going to the theatre: http://youtu.be/ylkUthBmw3E

Is this a retirement community production? Because Ms. Degarmo is...not the right age.

She reminds me of Celia's prison makeover on Weeds.

SonofRobbieJ: It's just a two-night event, and sounds like a concert staging, with a full symphony orchestra.

Oh...I'm just being snarky. It doesn't bother me.

^ I didn't know... but I just looked it up to see where the show was and stuff, and saw that it was a 2-night event ![]()

I live in Nashviile where Studio Tenn resides, and I have to say, they put on great theater! It is run by a guy that was in the OBC of Jersey Boys. He brings in a lot of broadway talent. Jessica Grové as Maria in The Sound of Music, Rachel Potter and Chuck Wagner in Les Miserables, and Ali Mauzey in Cinderella. I have no doubt that this will be a great show!

^ Are they normally concert stagings?
And do the trailers always have a Wes Craven feel? Cause THAT'S the Sound of Music I wanna see!

No it will not be a concert staging. They did the same thing last year with Les Miserables and it was a full scale show. I know for a fact that this will be the same.

My mistake then! I just misunderstood the article I read on Playbill about it... probably read too fast... but when I glanced through that and then saw on the website that it had a full symphony orchestra, I didn't think it was a "full scale show."

Yes there will be a huge orchestra, but it won't be concert staging.

Looks like someone at Studio Tenn has a daughter or son in film school who they gave the job to...

God bless the naive person who commented "If we can not see it live.. are you going to offer it in DVD or live in the movie theaters?" on Youtube. XD
