Think of Michelle Williams as the Lorell of the group.

I knew it. Broadway.com hinted to this a week or so ago. She was photographed at the Broadway production.
I wonder if this her "trial" for Broadway.

Good God, make the Weisslers STOP...
She was terrible in AIDA.
Couldn't act her way out of a paper bag in PURPLE
And now this? It's been sad watching the de-evolution of Chicago over the years. Why the hell can't they just fork over some dough and put a GREAT Roxie in like Ruthie Henshall?
Oy.

She was god awful in Aida. Her acting is astonishingly dull, and her big voice gets lost in the even bigger broadway stage.

Posted: 5/26/09 at 5:56pmRuthie Henshall was a great Roxie, but Williams will bring in more money at the box office and that's all Chicago is about. Money.

Well, Chicago has lived up to the its message,
don't do the right thing, just razzle dazzle em'. So is she going to star alongside Jerry Springer?

.. or it could be brilliant commentary on the subject from the Weisslers..
Wait.. it's the Weasslers.. there is no thought.. just the blinding glare of dollar signs in their eyes and floods of saliva as they count their ill gotten cash.
Those two treat Chicago.. and any show they touch.. as a vulture treats a corpse.. they just circle and feed, circle feed until nothing left but the sun bleached bones that crumble to dust.

Posted: 5/26/09 at 10:01pmMaybe the Weisslers have a sarcastic/ironic sense of humor and have been putting us on for years.

"They say that just being relaxed is the most important thing [in acting]. I take that to another level, I think kinda like yawning and...like being partially asleep onstage is also good, but whatever." - Sherie Rene Scott
