They're smart. Find a job and then don't let go of it.

Oy. I hope Broadwayunderstudies.com is on top of this, because whenever Kendra is out is when I'll go.

Look like I'll be saving a lot of money. I hate Kendra's voice.

I love Kendra and all but 2 years on tour, 9 months on Broadway, then 6 months more on Broadway, & now San Fran. Can someone say one trick pony?

I'm predicting a returning slew of Kendra secrets on Broadway Secrets this week.

David and Carol were both very good, but...
Kendra + Teal = sleep inducing.
Could they have picked two duller performers for the leads?
I guess the people who have never seen the show and have nothing to compare them to will find them brilliant.

Maybe she's trying to be the female Matt Caplan.

Wow, I didn't realize Kendra had been in Wicked for 17 years. Impressive.
Anyway, I love her. Very funny and makes a good transformation from Act 1 to Act 2. Love her voice, too.

Last time I saw Kendra in NY she was a bit..heavy..and her voice wasn't that good. I wonder if she has slimmed down since then.

I wouldn't say one trick pony. Kendra has worked consistently prior to and in between all of her Wicked stints. There's a handful of recycled Wicked cast members that actually keep busy with other stage work when not in the land of Oz. Sparkles for them.

I wouldn't consider taking a steady job that pays well being a "one trick pony". She's done a few projects outside of her Wicked runs. I saw her in the Seattle production of Company. She was a fantastic Amy.

I would not say that Teal is dull..... I think that she is a great performer and has got a great voice.

I haven't seen Teal, but I think she has potential. I saw Kendra, Carol, and David in 2005. Carol was awful and David was excruciatingly boring. Kendra has a very strong stage presence, but her voice is grating and she's too hyper. Needless to say, I won't be seeing this cast.

Kendra Kassebaum has found a reliable lucrative gig- with productions crisscrossing the entire country- that she can rely on when she needs to get paid... and youre all so jealous of that opportunity you have to detract her for it?
not only is there nothing wrong with paying the bills, but in between her wicked stints Kendra has done all sorts of different stuff- including a really great performance in The Receptionist last year (which i loved) and her adored performance as Amy in Company- and thats just off the top of my head. I think there are more.

Kendra has done many different projects between her runs, as said! She supplements her time between productions, taking advantage of steady employment that gives her the freedom to pursue other projects at the same time.
How to properly use its/it's:
Its is the possessive. It's is the contraction for it is...

And I hope she does that many times while she's here in SF.

My comment above was not meant as a joke--when I saw her in Sept of 07 she was busting out of her costume...she was THAT big, a far cry from when she was in SF a few years prior.

yes, she's slimed down. No, I don't thin she needs to go to another production. If they need to bring anyone back it's Jennifer Laura Thompson.

Teal was great in 59E59's Fahrenheit 451, I'm glad she's made it big.
