Might as well get this one started since we have our first 2020 season announcement today with Ivo van Hove's West Side Story...

Again, I classify a "confirmed" production as a show that has announced either official production dates or a venue.

Really? You couldn't have waited for more shows to be announced?
In that case, I have the strangest feeling that Beetlejuice, Dave, and hopefully Everybody's Talking About Jamie will come in next season (Tina is a given!)
I also think if Hadestown finishes their London/National Theatre run in January, then could they potentially wait to bring it in summer or fall without fast-tracking it in THIS spring. Moulin Rouge ends early enough in August, that I could see them opening either late spring right before the Tonys or early summer.

I don't know why, but if I were the producers of Hadestown and Moulin Rouge, I would want them to be brought in THIS season (aka the 2018-2019 season, not the 2019-2020 season that's eons away, but I guess to remain important, some people just can't get enough of controlling the game, I guess!)
If a show is announced, then it’s not too early to start a thread. No need to wait for more shows to be announced, because the thread can be updated. Thanks for starting these, BC; I find them really useful for planning my annual trips.

This!

This reminds me of the courtesy phrase "No line, no waiting." Though it is announced to many, only one person can take advantage of it.

Agreed.

The only thing I regret is we don't have a thread like this for off Broadway productions. But that's probably incredibly difficult
List updated with Moulin Rouge! announcement (at last!).
Faye Dunaway's coming back to Broadway in Tea at Five as Katharine Hepburn. Dates, theatre, and full creative team will be announced at a later date.

I don't add a show to the "confirmed" list until we get a date or a theater!
What about Tina? Doesn't that have a date of next fall?

Just "fall 2019." Again, I don't think anything is ever set in stone until we get a first preview or opening night date and/or a theater!
Part of me feels like Tina isn’t coming in. I know they had rumors about being at the Lunt, but I just don’t see this working well.

Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune was confirmed a while ago, starting previews on May 4 at Broadhurst.
Still no dates or a theatre, but Adrienne Warren has been confirmed for the broadway run of Tina. Jagged Little Pill and Company with Patti Lupone are expected this fall as well, but not yet confirmed.
I don't think the original poster is on here any more, so someone might want to start a new thread for this.
Tina at the Lunt is the longstanding rumor, and the Nederlanders are co-lead producers on the Broadway run. I can't imagine we'll get many more announcements soon, because we need to see how all the new spring shows fare. We there will be closings between May and September, we just don't know how many.
