I’ve always wanted A Chorus Line done in a new way. The reality TV show idea sounds cute. My friend and I were talking and he was like “what if it was an open trans woman talking about how she got her tits and ass done after her casting card said she was clockable”. I’d LOVE that.

TLC is my all-time favorite music group. They were once the best-selling girl group of all-time and their Biopic from VH1 is still the highest rated/viewed over a decade later. I'm confused - if they were gonna go with already established stars (which I'm not at all opposed to), what was the point of announcing a Nation Wide open casting call? I assumed that they were gonna go with unknowns for Lorell and Deena, and use Effie as the big name. Also Re: keke palmer - her stage acting is..not good. it's very "Disney". If we wanna go star-studded though...Halle Bailey gets my vote.I cosign Loren Lott.

I’m not hearing much about his show, has anyone else been to see it? Are there any talks of transfer? I wonder if Whoopi has seen it yet and if they will get her to shout it out on The View. for those who have seen it, how do they handle Daisy’s suicide scene? Just got out of the show so I’m dumping thoughts while it’s fresh. I went in completely blind—never saw the movie, didn’t read reviews, nothing—which I almost never do. A few songs were kinda cheesy, but some were really good and gave me chills. “Be Kind and Rewind” was cute, but the opening number “No More Monsters” was… not it. At all. “Have To Have You” was the first moment where I was like ohhhh this is a rock show—and I loved it. Still stuck in my head. “Belong to Someone” and “My Heart ...

This is one of my all time favorite movies. I was WAY too young of a child to be watching this, and Daisy’s (Brittany Murphys character) suicide always haunted me. Even as an adult I can still replay that scene in my head with the music on loop that she played on that vinyl record. That scene is one of the most iconic scenes in cinema for me. I really, really hope that they depict that on stage accurately.

The fact that they removed the makeout session between RTT and MMM is homophobic lol. I was looking forward to it so much.
