Too many events just run together!! And they are all so good, have to get to everything!!
Costello had rush, too.
It was such an amazing period for special events/nights at this time last year.
double post. Arg.
Yep, and I got there just a little before Em. :) Shall I see you there again this year?
I haven't decided yet. =P
And I got my ticket thanks to em! Thanks again!
This time if I go, I'll be there on line.
(It's especially or weirdly nostalgic for me because I rushed to the event from visiting the college where I now sit typing this as a student here. It feels bazaar.)
Jennifer Anniston's name has been removed from the 24 Hour Plays website. :-/

yeah im going bought my tickets a couple days, orchestra seats :) cant wait
Wow I'm really pissed off, I literally bought the tickets two minutes ago and I was really only going to see Jennifer Aniston. This thing better be worth the $200.
Well, she dropped out of that quickly...I wonder if she might still do it, but they just want to be carefull if she doesn't that people don't buy tickets for just that reason (not that the other people on there aren't worth the ticket but she's by far the most famous)
Well there's only the last two rows of the mezz left. So I'm guessing they asked her to just let them put her name on the list so they could sell the tickets, knowing that she wouldn't be doing it.

It was just on Entertainment Tonight that she's going to be in it.
Well I hope so because one of the things I want to do is meet the 6 leads from FRIENDS, and if I met her that would be 3 of the 6.
Even if she doesn't do it, I'm sure it will still be a fabulous event! It's so much fun and there are so many great people in it this year.

This whole show seems like a scam. They announced all these different stars to be in it, and now deleted some. They even asked for someone to try and get Law and Order to not film that day so that Mariska Hargitay and Jesse Martin can perform. That pretty much means that they never said yes to the event yet. They really shouldn't post any names until they are set in stone.
Why is "subject to change" translatable to scam? People commit and have to pull out all the time, schedules change, things come up. The list will be shrinking and growing up until the day of the show, guaranteed.

The reason why I said it seems like a scam is because they posted this on the site a couple of hours ago:
"Can anyone convince Law and Order to take a day off shooting so our favorites Jesse L. Martin and Mariska Hargitay can do the show?"
Obviously they have not committed to the show if they have to film their television shows that day. If they knew that there probably isn't a chance for Jesse and Mariska to make the show, then why post their names in the first place? If I was the person organizing this, I would wait until the celebrity says, "I can definately make it," to advertise this person being there. I would NOT post that a celebrity will be at my event if they said something like, "I'll look at my schedule and if time permits, I'll come."
It just seems poorly organized if this is how they are booking celebrities to participate. Obviously, someone can schedule being in the show, and then something comes up and they can not go at the last minute, it happens all the time. But, they should not advertise a celebrity being there if they aren't officially scheduled to attend.
Has anyone ever been to the party afterwards? I know you get passes to it with certain tickets, but is it worth going to?
I'm glad to see that they might have rush again this year. I'd like to go again, but there's no way I could afford it without rush. I'm not sure how many rush seats they sold last year, but weren't there still a few empty seats in the rear/side? I don't really recall. I think most of rush seats came from some corporate group or magazine (something along those lines, wasn't it?) that didn't use all the seats that had been set aside for them. Or am I just dreaming all that up?
I think you're right; they were leftover coporate seats that ended up not getting used, or something. That's why they were orchestra and not like, rear mezz.
Aniston is still listed: http://www.theatermania.com/content/news.cfm/story/9078
So this is sold out already.
How am I going to see Jennifer live now????
There actually are still tickets available, but only to american express gold card holdersl, but if those don't sell they might release some of the seats they're holding back.
So many wonderful people added! Here's hoping for rush!
Where is the updated list? Who was added?
I feel very very silly. When I quickly looked through Friday's article, I saw the list of people who have done it previously but didn't see that key word apparently. But I'm sure there are more wonderful people to come. Sorry.
Probably will. :)
