"Murder Murder" from Jekyll & Hyde (not overrated here, but all of my friends think the show is amazing)

Practically every second song in MAME. I just don't understand why the story/character is so popular. It isn't particularly interesting.

Race You To The Top Of The Morning from 'The Secret Garden'. I loved the book as a child but found the musical dull and slow. A couple of nice songs but wouldn't rush back.

The Word of Your Body- Spring Awakening- Good show, but way overrated in my opinion, hence, why I answered the question with this response.

"Circle of Life" from Lion King. Fantastic opening number, then the rest of the show drags on and on with nothing new or inventive from that point forward.

I have to agree with Broadway on this one. When I saw Lion King I was so bored after the opener.
If I didn't believe in you
We'd never have gotten this far
If I didn't believe in you
And all of the ten thousand women you are
If I didn't think you could do
Anything you ever wanted to
If I wasn't certain that you'd come through somehow
THe fact of the matter is, Cathy
I wouldn't be standing here now

'Something Bad' - Wicked....Awful song from a sub-par show

Add me to the chorus of "Anything from Lion King!" It's staying power confounds me. Visually stunning, but I've never felt the desire to sit through it a second time.

I'll chime in with "The Circle Of Life" from the Lion King also.
When I finally got around to seeing it (I think on it's third time on tour to Seattle), at the end all I kept thinking was it would have been a lot better if they just did the opening "Circle of Life" number, lowered a screen to show the movie version, then raised the screen up at the end and do the reprise finale of "Circle of Life" again. I would have enjoyed it a lot more.

I'll have to say "Perpetual Anticipation" or "The Miller's Son" from A Litte Night Music. There are some fun songs but I found it a little boring overall.
I havent's seen Billy Elliot yet, but "Electricity" is the only song that I like (love) from the West End cast recording.
Edited: thanks for the correction. :)
