SOOOOOOO good! I don't know why I haven't come across more threads about this show on the boards. BRILLIANT!
I know this is random comment on the play but can anyone else see Cliff Saunders as Igor in YF? I think he would be amazing.
Go see it before Charles Edwards leaves this Sunday.

Posted: 7/3/08 at 1:18amI'm finally getting around to checking this out tomorrow evening. Glad to hear it's a riot, even though that's what I was expecting!

Posted: 7/3/08 at 8:42amI am looking forward to seeing it tomorrow night. It was either THE 39 STEPS or going to see the fireworks on the East River. I think I made the right decision. I really didn't want to deal with the crowd.

Oh hey! Maybe youse guyses can answer my question regarding fried fish. Did they keep that awsome line:
"You like haddock?" ?
I can't imagine why they wouldn't, but it's really important that I find out.

I saw this play when I went on my New York trip. I loved it! It was such a fun show :)
I think it is a very underrated play.

Just got back from tonight's performance and it was INCREDIBLE! I was laughing the entire time. It was very clever and well-made. The pacing was perfect for the material and the actors were top-notch. I'm glad I caught Charles Edwards, who was great. I'm surprised he wasn't nominated, (but then again, others were overlooked as well...NORBERT).
But besides the fact that I loved the show, the theater was PACKED! I rushed right at 6PM and they only had 3 seats available (according to the B.O.)! My friends and I took all those seats, but none of them were together. I was surprised there weren't more seats available, but hey, that's great news! Glad to see that not just musicals are playing to large audiences. All in all, a great show!
