Just got the Little Shop CD today and it was even BETTER than when I saw the show...and thats means a lot because I didn't think anything would top what I saw at the Virginia Theatre about a week ago! Thrilling!! Kerry Butler absolutly ROCKS and so does Hunter...all of them. The was produced brillinatly!
PS - If you have not seen Little Shop SEE IT! WOW what a show
I have to agree....I have been listening to my Little Shop Cd everyday a least twice a day. Some might call it being obsessed, but I just enjoy listening to it immensely, and it makes me happy. And Little Shop IS the best thing on Broadway right now. I had a blast when I saw it again on Friday night.

I've programmed my Discman for REPEAT mode for the track "Skid Row." Love that number!
I can't even get past the opening, without repeating it. That was the highlight for me in the show. Those girls are amazing, and really blow the roof off, and bring the house down!

Gee, where's RobD's Sherlock Holmes hat, when you need it?
What is that supposed to mean?
Are you suggesting that I have more than one identity Al, because if you are suggesting that, I can assure you that I don't participate in those elementary online games.

I will HOPEFULLY get it tomorrow! Borders said they can't sell it until tomorrow. The girl on the phone probably had no clue because I got different answers everytime I called.
No, Balla, he wasn't saying that (at least I don't think so).
The original post just smells a little shilly to some of us here.
Oh....ok. I hope I didn't become a pawn for shameless advertising, because I was genuine in my thoughts.

I'm a repeat offender also I listen to the LSOH's CD several times a day. As I said in a past post it took the place of my Hairspray CD! It hasn't taken the place of Favorite show but the CD is playing none stop and the show is Definitely up on the top of the list of my favorite shows.
Balladeer,
Who is that in the picture you are using? Thank you.
Dottie
NO, NO Ball, not you. I was referrinng to the sudden rash of "swings", praising the LS CD. Definitely, as Robbie said, "a little shillish"!

I gotta' love hearing all this amazement with Little Shop after so many people were doubting Kerry Butler and the show during previews. I thought it was such an excellent show, and I'm happy to see everyone else is also enjoying it. I can't wait for the CD. But it doesn't come out until Nov. 4th, right? Maybe I should order it online, it will probably come faster.
The CD is out in some places it has been since last week thats when I got it. Some websites sold it starting last tuesady also Butonly a few stores have it you have to hunt for it otherwise all stores should have it byt Nov. 4th
I feel the same way you do I loved the show from the first time I saw it( the first weekend of Previews) and you all know I defened Kerry till I turned blue! She's amazing and I love the show and the CD.

Hi everyone,
I too love the Little Shop cd. I was at the first preview of Little Shop and it was awsome and I am very pleased with the cd.
I can't get enough of Kerry Butler's voice and I think Douglas Sills is great doing the roles in Meek Shall Inherit. I'm glad they included the Mrs.Luce part on the cd and I like how they have Somewhere Thats Green (reprise) and the act 1 finale, too.

Me too! I love this show!
I cannot wait for the recording. The show is absolutely magnificent- I loved it. Kerry and Hunter are amazing- but the Ronettes were the highlight for me. I can't wait to hear them!

I wish I could find it somewhere here in suburban Maryland. It is pathetic when I check three stores (borders, barnes and nobles and FYE and no one has it....)
