Rebranding unveiled at a Gala tonight, per social media reports.

So now Stokes won't have to say "you know, we're not JUST for actors." But 10 syllables is quite a mouthful when you used to only have 4!

......they couldn't have done that during the pandemic when their name-recognition was at an all-time high?

I mean sure, I guess. But does everything have to be spelled out nowadays?

There is literally nothing here to gripe about. If this is a problem for you, might be time to talk to your therapist.

Considering your antagonistic response, maybe look in the mirror.

The fund is trying to be more inclusive and help more people and you’re complaining about the new name. Get a grip. There is literally nothing to be said about this except “how great it’ll reach more people!”.

Not sure the wisdom of throwing away more than a century of hard-earned name recognition and good will. "Actor's Fund" was something special; "Entertainment Community Fund" is bland and generic.

I disagree –– Actors Fund was a confusing name, as anyone who has ever tried to fundraise on behalf of the Fund will tell you.
