how is La Cage winning for best revival!? and how is PO in last!!?? aaahhh...it bothers me
Um....LA CAGE is a GREAT Revival! A wonderful production of a wonderful show that is up and running with two very capable and talented stars and a cast that can dance unlike any other on Bway. PO was drab, boring, miscast, and cheep looking...But thats just my opinion!
Also, voting's only been open for a couple of hours.
Got just under a month to fight over such things!
This thread could get ugly fast. To clarify things, I didnt get to see PO and havent made my way over to the Hirchfeld (sp) yet but I did see La Cage and thought it was good. Not great, not bad but good. Just my 2 cents. Id love to see it again, however, since Ive heard that the once seemingly miscast, misdirected, and off key performance from Mr. Beach is now a glisteningly perfect gem of a portrayl.

Wicked, it really has come a long way, (Gary's performance that is) in just the last month alone. He and Goulet work together soooo much better than he and Davis ever did on stage. Ever since Beach stopped taping the PRODUCERS movie and started apearing in LA CAGE regularly, he has honed in on the character and is simply divine! As is Goulet!
