My mind is a blur. I need some good "Goodbye" songs. Preferably nice ballads. From Broadway or not, doesn't really matter, but I prefer Broadway.

I'd like a song thats for a soloist (any range), a song for a duo (any ranges), and a song that can have a large group sing a chorus or two.

Thanks!

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Would Written in the Stars be considered a "goodbye" song?

Finale in Cabaret

Also, don't shoot, but For Good. It IS a goodbye song.

"Good-bye, Little Dream, Good-bye" by Cole Porter

Was it Romeo?--or Juliet?--
Who said when about to die,
"Love is not all peaches and cream,
Little dream, good-bye."

Goodbye till tommorow (I think that is the TITLE) the last five years

When someone blunders, we say that he makes a misstep. Is it then not clear that all the ills of mankind, all the tragic misfortunes that fill our history books, all the political blunders, all the failures of the great leaders have arisen merely from a lack of skill in dancing. - Moliere

ONCE BEFORE I GO

Once before I go
I want you to know
That I would do it all again
I'm sure I'd make the same mistakes
But I could make it through
The pains and joys and aches
I knew back then
I would do it all, I'd do it all again

Before I go
I want you to know
That I look back with no regrets
And when our luck was wearing thin
And we were down and out
We still came back to win against all bets
Now when I look back
I still have no regrets

And it's so hard to say goodbyes
When there's so much that's left
Unspoken in your eyes
But unless I spread my wings again
I'm afraid I'll never soar
So hang onto the mem'ries
And hold me close once more

Once more
Just once before I go
I want you to know
That I have loved you all along
And even when we're far apart
I only need to feel you living in my heart
And I'll be strong
Love you just the way
I've loved you all along

And it's so hard to say goodbyes
When there's so much that's left
Unspoken in your eyes
But unless I spread my wings again
I'm afraid I'll never soar
So kiss me for the last time
And hold me close once more

Once more
Just once before I go
I want you to know
That I have loved you all along
And even when we're far apart
I only need to feel you're living in my heart
And I'll be strong

You are the light that shines on me
You always were and you'll always be
So I had to let you know
Just this once
Just this once
Before I go
