But seriously, Seeing Avenue Q win all the Tony Awards especially how cute Jeff Marx looked and Stephanie crying. I leaped up out of my chair and screamed bloody murder. I was really happy Avenue Q won. Stephanie's face was priceless.
Being thirteen, being addicted to Les Miserables, FINALLY getting my tickets and sitting in my seat, while the lights dimmed and the overture began. Its such a poerful overature, I remember almost crying I was so excited lol.
That was 9 years ago and I remember it like it was yesterday :)

I haven't had many great feelings. I can think of one that really makes my heart beam when I remember. I'm sounding like a broken record even to myself, but seeing GYPSY for the first time, seeing Bernadette Peters for the first time, hearing the sound of a real orchestra in a real pit in a real theater in NEW YORK CITY for the first time. The smell of the Shubert theater. The soft material of the red seats. The wonderfully flamboyant gay fellow sitting in the row ahead of us, who we had great conversations with during intermission and before/after the show. Watching the audience, observing their reactions in awe. Of course, the first note of the Overture which I find to be one of the most exhilerating pieces of music created.
Gypsy was my first experience of a Broadway show in New York. I'll never forget it.
For me, as an actress, the moment right before you make your entrance. Your head is muddled for a split second, just going through eight million unrelated thoughts and then you walk out...and the lights hit you, and every thought except who you are as a character disappear from your head.
For me, as an audience member, when there's that moment, that line, that character in a play that is so perfectly relating to your life at that given moment that you realize so clearly the parallels...it just hits you instantly, and that moment is so very amazing. It happens so rarely, but it's such a great moment that it will keep you going to play after play vainly in search of it. The amazing capability of live theatre to give moments to people is unparalleled by any other art form, since theatre is real life on stage.
Most recently playing 'Jamie' in 'The Last 5 Years'. I would kill to do it again. Unfortunately a 'one night only'. It helps also when you have an AMAZING 'Cathy'.
The best feeling the world for me is the undescribable feeling you have inside of you that only theatre folks can understand. A feeling of family...a feeling of friendship...a feeling of too many things.
The worst feeling in the world is when you have to say goodbye to those friends...that family.
