Hot mess! Even though no dialogue was heard, I cringed at the non-musical scenes.

Who are they kidding?! I paid 20 pounds for a seat to see this ****e in London and wanted all of it back. It was dreadful and the first ten minutes had me running for the door. People should seriously consider staying home and listening to their Whitney records or going to a real karaoke - it will be more entertaining.
I left at interval and hit the Sainsbury's across the street for more excitement.

double post. Seriously - pray that Cabaret at the Savoy extends. Updated On: 12/23/12 at 01:27 AM
What were the reviews like? Maybe if they bring it to Broadway there will be significant reworks.
Reviews were mixed to positive - four stars from a few of the majors. The show is not perfect but it works. Heather is sensational and the audience goes crazy - every time. The only issue the show has is Heather's attendance record.
Bottom line, it's a hit and it WILL come to Broadway.

Cabaret at Savoy is awful. Beyond awful.
Bodyguard at least has decent direction, great singing and entertainment
The trailer doesn't make me want to see it. Had no real desire anyway should it come to B'way. No crazy about her voice singing these songs and I wanna Dace With Somebody wasn't in the movie if I remember correctly.
I believe the show also features other Whitney hits not featured in the movie - So Emotional, One Moment in Time, Saving All My Love, to name a few. They might as well call this jukebox musical "Crack is Whack."
I honestly don't think it looks that bad. Looks like standard fluff.

So Emotional sounded terrible without the harmony. The crowd was indeed loving it, though, don't understand why.
