There are 21 Broadway shows with theaters and scheduled opening dates so far, by my calculation. Which of these has people most excited?
Broadway 2012-2013 At A Glimpse
Not really exciting overall but I am looking forward to seeing A Christmas Story (never thought I'd say that!) and Chaplin. Also curious to see how Kathie Lee's Scandalous turns out..
Excited? Not too much, although I will likely seem a good number of shows.
The ones I am actually interested in?
Chaplin (Seeing the preview next Weds night!)
Cyrano de Bergerac (A favorite story of mine.)
Whos Afraid of Virginia Woolf (YES!)
Glengarry Glen Ross (Peripherally)
The Mystery of Edwin Drood
Matilda (April 13)
The ones I plan to stay far away from? (My mind CAN be changed, however.)
Bring It On: The Musical
Annie
Scandalous
Cinderella
Everything else is in the middle -- we'll see how things go.
This is one of the least exciting seasons (for me) in a LOOONG time. Hopefully, some suprises are still in store.
It's equally as uninteresting to me as last season.
I think Chaplin is going to bomb massively, as will Rebecca.
Not wishing it on either one mind you, just a prediction.
The only two I'm excited about are Virginia Woolf and Drood.
Also, the list left off Kinky Boots.

I think it's a bit of a disappointing Autumn and Winter, except for Annie, there isn't much big opening until the Spring. Lots of the big houses with nothing on or fillers.... Schubert, Lunt, Broadway, St James, Al Hirchsfeld....

I also think they left off Jekyll and Hyde
I'm looking forward to EDWIN DROOD and MATILDA.
Kinky Boots is on the list -- April 4th.
Of course, this is not the final list for the Broadway season by any means
Broadway 2012-2013 At A Glance

Sondheim is napping at his apartment on the UES.
Oh, good. He needs a nap before he starts writing A NEW MUSICAL.
Offish BWay revival of MARRY ME....
will have to suffice your young'n.
Capn Hook: Shows that have closed already are not included on the list. What's the point?
And, ok, yes "Running on Empty," Lewis Black's stand-up routine, will be at the Richard Rodgers for a few days in October. I'm not sure that counts, but I've added it.
Broadway 2012-2013 At A Glance
I also excluded FRANKIE VALLI AND THE FOUR SEASONS, which should be in the "other" category.
The point? Your list is labeled "the Broadway 2012-2013 Season." HARVEY and FELA! were a part of the 2012-13 Broadway season. That's my point.
I'm most excited for Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Glengarry Glen Ross, and The Performers. I really can't wait to see Amy Morton again!

Also Orphans and The Big Knife. There are a few more plays still to be announced for spring as well.
Smaxie, while those shows have announced plans to come in, my list only included those with confirmed theatres. (Except THE BIG KNIFE, which should have been on my list as well)
What about:
Diner
Big Fish
Motown
Yank
The Nutty Professor
Prince on Broadway
Houdini
Flashdance
Toxic Avengers
Zorba
Stand-by Joined: 4/4/11
Diner, Big Fish, Motown, Yank, The Nutty Professor, Prince on Broadway, Houdini, Flashdance, Toxic Avengers, and Zorba don't have theaters or a schedule yet.
Yank seems very, very dead to me. Are there actually rumours about it?
Diner - the creative team is retooling the show and its expected this spring
Big Fish - writers and director are working on it for 2013-14 season
Motown - 2013-2014 season
Yank - producers still have hopes for Broadway but have not raised the money for it. Doubtful it will happen.
The Nutty Professor - may come in this season (chances more likely due to Hamlisch's death)
Prince On Broadway - 2013-14 season
Houdini - they have a workshop coming up. They want it ready by 2013-14 season
Flashdance - this is the show that keeps on trying. Originally they were going to come in this season, then they werent, and now i hear its possible either for spring or 2013-14 season
Toxic Avengers - producers have not raised money to bring it in yet
Zorba - no clue
It will be announced soon, MOTOWN Has a Theatre.
