Hi guys! I'm thinking about rushing either The Color Purple or Bright Star tomorrow. Which do you guys suggest?
I know The Color Purple is probably the better show overall, but I kinda want to see Carmen's performance.

If you have time to rush Color Purple later then do Bright Star, and if not, skip Bright Star. Carmen is very good, but Cynthia giving a performance for the ages.

I would vote for Bright Star just because it's your last chance to see Carmen in it. I personally thought her performance was just as moving as Cynthia's
The Color Purple is wonderful and the performances are truly spectacular so you can't go wrong. But I love bright star. In fact, I'm going to the final performance Sunday!

If you can rush Color Purple another time, see Bright Star before it closes.

I say go for Color Purple, even with Bright Star as an option. There's nothing like it.

Carmen is amazing in Bright Star. Given it's closing this weekend, my vote will go to Bright Star.

Will you be able to see The Color Purple another time over the summer? If so, see Bright Star. If not, don't miss The Color Purple.

I saw Bright Star two nights ago and literally just got out from seeing Color Purple tonight. You have a Sophie's choice I'm afraid. They are both absolutely amazing. I agree if you can get the opportunity to see Color Purple another time then don't miss out on Bright Star. But also don't miss out seeing Cynthia and Heather.
You can't go wrong with either.
