Posted: 3/2/05 at 10:58pmDonald doesn't even have the time of day/desire to grace The Apprentices with his presence more often than introducing the challenge and firing them. As if he'd have time/want to rehearse and perform in a Broadway show!

Posted: 3/2/05 at 11:06pmi think it's a funny idea, but in all honesty, i don't think it would ever happen. Yes, I can see donald as the character, but in the end. in drag? he'd NEVER do that. unless donald likes to get freaky in private!

Posted: 3/2/05 at 11:11pmI can't see him doing it either. They'd never be able to pay him enough money, and once he finds out he needs to end up in a dress, he'll just turn it down. If by any chance he DOES take it on, I would imagine it would only be at certain performances or for a week or so.

Posted: 3/3/05 at 3:35amdid anyone recall that Marla Maples was in WILL ROGERS FOLLIES for a while? she actually went to my university and could never get cast. Perhaps the Donald wants to emulate her achievement---he knows roles can be bought, after all, from that experience. However, with his TV fame, perhaps they might pay him now, as opposed to him paying them to use her.

This is probably never going to happen but it has performed one service - it's gotten that show some much-needed publicity. It's good to hear some people outside of NY finally realizing that the show exists.

They mentioned Trump's possible role in the La Cage newsletter - so it looks like things might be getting serious. I'm not sure where I stand on this, but I know it'd be a great way to advertise the show.
