This is a bit of a stretch, but if there were a tie in say the featured actor category, would Hamilton be able to surpass the record set by the producers?

my thought has been I doubt Phillipa will win, but if they win in every other category and have a tie in best actor of featured actor they will set a new record.

Which I suppose is possible. I believe there will be a tie somewhere tonight. Don't know where.

As it stands, Hamilton has the ability to break the record without a tie because it's nominated in 13 different categories.  Assuming it loses Best Actress (very likely), it would have to a) win all of the other categories its nominated in (possible, but somewhat unlikely), plus b) have two Hamilton actors tie in either Best Actor or Featured Actor, in order to get to the record-breaking 13 wins. I think that's incredibly unlikely to happen because, while its possible to vote in a sweep mentality, a tie would be purely accidental, so I think it's outside the realm of likelihood. But who knows!

I love Chris Jackson but it seems strange to give him a big solo and use two numbers that barely include Leslie Odom Jr.

Yeah, that combined with the "Wait for It" videos makes me think maybe they'll throw that in somewhere else? I mean I love Yorktown, and it does a good job of conveying the musical and shows a good portion of the cast. But all it really features are Lin and Oke

I assumed the Instagram Wait For It rehearsal was only for the 360 video. I would love to see more, but I think that's the sum of it.
