Wonder if anything will be in there before.
They were clearly waiting in the wings for a theater to open up so they could return. No surprise considering how successful their first run was.
I always enjoy magic shows. Saw the tour and this is a pretty lame magic show. Really slow pacing. But, replace few bits and speed up a couple others and it would be a very entertaining show. They are all very talented.
Certainly "the magic is back" on Broadway, what with Penn and Teller's limited engagement show set to open next month. I wonder how that will do compared to The Illusionists. It's just six weeks with no extensions.
So ErinDillyFan, you have another choice, I guess. I doubt that their pacing is slow.

This seems weird. All this talk about how shows are stacked up like jets at JFK and a prime musical house becomes available and they book a limited run magic show for November so the Simon will be dark for five months...
unless the curse of the Simon (Catch Me, Scandalous, Big Fish, Last Ship, Gigi) is truly a factor. Can't they call an exorcist?

This show made a ton of money last year. That is really all the Nederlanders care about. Gigi was a place holder. Then another show will come in the Spring. It seems too Vegas for my tastes, but not a new phenomena.
