I loved Ferryman. Figured I love another work involving Sam Mendes. First time I've seen these actors who were great. Loved Adam's interpretation of the multiple bride candidates and the way Simon and Adrian presented the female and child roles. Hysterical.

+1 here to grab a plane ticket to NYC! I'll admit I didn't know much about Adrian Lester before but after watching Lehman Trilogy I read up about him and didn't realize this is his Broadway debut!!! I thought all 3 actors were standouts all in their own way. I've always enjoyed and been a fan of Simon Russell Beale and think he can easily do a one-man show with all his impersonations/facial expressions. Same for Adam Godley. Adrian Lester too!
I'll definitely be watching this play again. When I went, it started at around 7:07pm and I left at around 10:25pm.

Thanks.I'm profoundly deaf in one ear, so I'd prefer to sit closer. The devices only help so much, sadly.
I stopped by the box office this morning and the man - who was quite possibly the loveliest box office employee I have encountered in 25 years of theatergoing - encouraged me to go for it in row E, said I shouldn't miss really anything because of the box and the staging.
Seeing it Saturday afternoon at 1pm. Really looking forward to it after reading the novel.

My take- saw it Saturday matinee- third row center- amazing view- third row is great- high stage so rows 1 and 2 are too close- my reaction is this---amazing production- the actors are incredible and all first-rate- the story is interesting and very engrossing- however, this is not a character study or a play with much emotional heft. Very little character development- almost like watching a great history lecture on the history of the financial markets and the effect of the Lehman Brothers on it. I give it an A minus- only because I like to leave the theater with some sense of emotional reaction- Moulin Rouge- a very different theatrical experience- I left with a lump in my throat- I did love the story for MR. However, I loved the theatrics in Lehman Trilogy- and I do highly recommend it. And, I am very glad I saw it.

Just wow. Wow all the way through. Awards for everyone. What a show. I might revisit this with more thoughts (the last 20 mins shifted pretty rapidly and was almost irrelevant to the previous opus, Simon Russel Beale gave a completely perfect performance, i wish I had been in orchestra, even on the extreme sides) but the three+ hours flew by. Just incredibly done.

Anyone have any predictions if this will ever hit TDF?
Opening night is next week so I guess it'll depend on reviews. November before Thanksgiving will be a tough month for any show on Broadway so if it does end up on TDF, I'd guess it would be before the holidays.

I dont know the workings of the TDF wizardry, but last night's show was max 2/3 full in the mezzanine. Entire rows of the rear side mezz were empty.
I just looked at Ticketmaster and tonight’s performance looks almost sold out (perhaps random 10-15 seats left.) I looked at tomorrow and lots of unsold seats in rear/side mezz.
I think it’s up to the producers whether to put tix to TDF.
Any discounts available for this yet?
