I have a strange fascination for breasts, also.
But for me, one of the nicest surprises during Piazza was during "Say It Somehow" when Kelli O'Hara was unbuttoning Matt Morrison's shirt. Yum.
But, ugh, off that subject altogther...
Piazza!
Haha.

Steven, maybe we should go see PIAZZA together again and give a COLLECTIVE drool at that sight, doll?
By the way, has anyone noticed that they took out Signora's line "You can almost hear what everyone's feeling" in "Octet." I'm pretty sure in the Nonesuch preview clips, it was there. Hm...

Geez, I didn't even notice. Hmm...
Piazza is love -- my parents are sick of it. How can I be related to them?
Haha, all right, trash, let's go!

When and where, baby? Haha!
The PIAZZA Score and recording are pure Heaven on a CD.
Victoria is Sublime and Kelli sounds Magnificent!
My only gripe is Morrison, sounds a bit thin,
too bad Michael Arden is not a few years older,
His voice has the yearning I would like to hear in this part.
But I most say i am more impressed with Matt than I thought I would be, the score gives everyone chances to shine!
LOVE TO ME is my new favorite song, Guettel's use of simple words and phrases for this character are genius and make me cry.
Bravo to all Involved.
The cello solos are incredible.
I am thinking that are by Peter Sachon?
I think Morrison sounds fine.
<-----
Love it!
Yes, that is Peter Sachon on cello.
Gorgeous.
I love the cello solo in the Overture, which I believe was cut in the actual show, the one with the melody of "The Light in the Piazza."
I personally love the bassoon solo in "Dividing Day."
That song is just the most beautifully orchestrated song in the whole score in my opinion.
I love the harp!
Ah!
There's just so much to love.
~Steven
Victoria Clark did Dividing Day at the Dram Desk Awards?
No, she performed "Fable" with Ted Sperling accompanying her.

Love the avatar BSo.
Agreed. It's lovely.
As is yours, TGIF.

i believe Arden was auditioning for the role for a while but Im not sure why he didnt end up with it (if it was his baby face or what)
In the booklet it describes Fabrizio as a "boy." I would think a young face would work well...

well CurtainPullDowner said he wished he was older...? *shrug* You never know what theyre looking for when they make casting decisions, but Arden was at Piazza's *first preview* and he mentioned auditioning for the part.

Bah. Arden's got talent. A lot of it. But Matt is so wonderful! Anyone would pale in comparison to the work he's doing on that stage!
Well, I'm happy with the cast.
Now to see the damn show!
