The Light switche are being pulled on Broadway tonight.......................

Well the bloodshed is beginning on Broadway tonight, of course I do not find this pleasurable.

Hairspray
Young Frankenstein
Boeing Boeing
Grease
Dividing the Estate
Slavas Snowshow
White Christmas
13

I feel very sad that the best American musical of all time is closing 'Hairspray', I cannot explain the feeling of electricity that run through me, when I saw this show for the very 1st time at the Neil Lennon Theatre.

I am sure if it was not for the economic situation this show would of run and run.

To be fair 2 of those are Christmas shows.

It is a shame that Hairspray is closing, I have seen it twice in London and loved it. I loved Boeing Boeing to in London, White Christmas at the Mayflower a couple of years back and absolutely adored Slava's Snow Show on the UK tour.

The economy isn't great at the moment and if a show isn't making money then it needs to close. It is sad but true.

Long live Hairspray in the West End

Sad and very depressing indeed.
Lets hope it gets its sparkle back asap!

This is a very moving piece about the mass closures in New York in the next 3 weeks.

Hairspray has a had a great run so as sad as it is thats its closing it can be very proud of its run
YF shot itself in the foot abit i think by producing decisions but im sad for the talented cast
